The University of New Haven is the the first university to be approved for establishing an international branch campus in Saudi Arabia.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Council of Ministers approved our plans, and our accrediting body granted its approval, paving the way for the start of classes in August 2026.
We have a long unique history of supporting education in Saudi Arabia, from offering private education to Saudi families, to educating hundreds of Saudi students on our main campus in Connecticut, USA. We know how to deliver higher education in Saudi Arabia, having created and managed a modern undergraduate program for one of the Kingdom’s most revered government institutions.
The University of New Haven – Riyadh Campus is located in Misk City (Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City), a purpose-built district dedicated to empowering the next generation of Saudi leaders. Teaching will take place through three colleges, bringing together the best of our marquee programs from the United States with curricula that focus on the knowledge and skills that tomorrow’s Saudi Arabia, Middle East, and wider region demand. All teaching and instruction will be in English.

We will offer a Pre-University Program and an English as a Second Language (ESL) course to students who require it. We will provide executive education to develop the private and public sector workforce. We will offer micro-credentials to support lifelong learning, in areas such as AI & Machine Learning, Business Management & Finance, Event Security, Leadership for Women, and more. And with stackable micro-credentials, students can pursue a variety of coursework than can build up and count towards higher-level certificates.

More Than 25 Years Supporting Higher Education in the Kingdom
Beginning in the Late 1990s
We offered private education to the Royal Family, delivering more than 40 degrees in Riyadh.
2012-Present
As part of a successful multi-year partnership through the Security Academic Program, we have graduated many hundreds of students from Saudi Arabia on our main campus.
2016-2021
We modernized the King Fahd Security College from a training center to an accredited military college. We developed and directed the undergraduate program.
